Default Gwen??

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Gwen from Pre Searing in Prophercies. Things like wether the quests item she gives you or the other related items (Preserved Red Iris Flower and The Tattered Girl Cape) are meant to have any referrence to her. I have a odd feeling that we may meet up with Gwen in C4 (Eye Of The North) or in GW2.

Thanks
Sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot first post

Gwen is probably THE most talked about person since the conception of GW. Anything we know about her is speculation, but Anet decided to tease us with a Preserved Iris Flower placed somewhere in Nightfall (I don't know exactly where it is, but I know somebody does). For all we know, Gwen could be the main villain in the next chapter or GW2 (assuming it's actually announced), it's any body's guess.

Nothing has really been confirmed about Gwen apart from Gaile Gray stating that the mystery of Gwen will be resolved.

Gwen is a big mystery IMO. She just...disappeared after the Searing, and some of her items i.e Gwen's Broken Flute found outside Sardelac Sanitarium have been found scattered over Tyria...yeah I have to agree with you she might have some impact in Eye of the North

Gwen is a fascination for many. The game creators have given her a very mysterious and special place within the contemporaneous lore of the game world. Most people understand that this is by design, and not whim.

Plenty of the jaded folks will poo-poo any talk of Gwen on these forums. Perhaps, as children, they were told that Santa Claus was only a fable and upon hearing that pronouncement a little spark of the dreamer died.

But, who knows?

the red iris flower, tattered cape, broken flute, and shreded tapestry are all "gwen items". these currently have no use but they used to. if you brought all of them into the underworld with you and talk to sarah a special quest would open up at the end of which you saw gwens ghost.

since then the quest has been gutted an half of the items are no longer obtainable. though the preserved red iris flower ,which can be found in an unlocked chest in eastern kourna, was added with nightfall and currently has no use.

its possible that with the destruction of the gwen underworld quest the developers decided to let her live. so with every new chapter comes more and more speculation about how gwen is involved in everything.

Yeah all of "Gwen's" items are all quest items but I feel that 'her most prized possesion' (the Tapestry Shread) is the only one that will have some impact in C4 when we meet up with Gwen. I say this because.

1) I feel that the other items we're just hints to tell us that Gwen is alive and well.

2) Why would you have to give her back all that 'broken/old'stuff?

Maybe having all her "broken/old stuff" proves loyalty or something.
